    I had my first visit to Redfern Canines and it could not have been better. I attended the two hour introduction lead by owner Betsy. No dogs are allowed at the introduction to eliminate distractions. The introduction was very informative, professional and very relaxing. Betsy truly knows dogs, is a very good communicator, patient and a truly nice and caring person. I have had six Golden Retrievers over the years and have attended many different training programs. None of these programs gave me such a positive impression from the start.

    I am a first-time dog mom and my beautiful puppy, Hero, is a pitbull/German Shepherd mix - a LOT OF DOG. We have now taken 3 classes at Redfern, 2 with Roseanne and 1 with Betsy. At the end of the first course, the Beginner Puppy class, we were presented with a certificate of completion and a beautiful packet of photos that they took - worthy of being framed. They also filled out the paperwork to be sent into the AKC for their S.T.A.R. Puppy certification. I am proud to have that certificate because it reminds me of my commitment to raising a good dog.
