My nails all look very pretty. I think the disappointment is that ZaZen used to feel like a luxury spot and now falls a little flat. When you pay almost $100 for a mani/pedi do you wanna feel like it was worth it and you were maybe a little pampered. I got gel, and chrome, which is an add-on service.

After going to Zazen for gel pedicures since April, 4 pedicures, and paying a standard $58, today I was told I was going to be charged a $5 extra gel removal fee. Why should you pay a removal fee when Zazen applied the gel?? When I questioned the fee, Amy, gave me a very snippy “that’s what we charge”.

I did gel nails that got chipped in 3 days. Poor quality nail material. Didn’t look like gel.

I would not recommend their lash course. Waste of money. You do not get what u paid for. U don’t not get the so called help afterwards and I’ve left multiple messages and a year later no one has called back

Zazen HAS A HEAD SPA!! I've been visiting the salon on and off for pedicures for the last 4 years and have always had a great experience. I don't do gel for pedicure but they last me weeks! I've also had a few gel manicures and they were also really nice but as someone who typically only gets their nails done for special occasions I was SOOOOO excited to see they are now offering a Head Spa experience! I went earlier this week and it was lovely! The room is soothing, the bed was cozy, and everything was very sanitary. Every single product smelled better than the last. The head spa was delightful, I felt as though it was the right amount of cleansing while also being throughly relaxing. I've gone to other head spas and by the end felt my scalp was going to fall off. I had the 90min session so you are able to pick from a facial or a massage, I picked facial and it was heavenly. They still massaged my neck, arms, and hands which was delightful! I've been wishing for a Head Spa to open in West Chester and I cannot be more excited! You have to go!

Nice comfortable ambiance. There is a nail bars, pedicure area, and beds for lash and brow services. I am very pleased with the lash extensions and brows microblading services that I have received. You can be kept warm with blankets if you'd like. The staff is very friendly.

I absolutely love my lash lift from Tien! I really like how my lashes are lifted and curled, but not so much that it loses length. Will definitely be booking at Zazen again

This place is a gem. I have been a regular for many years because I like the owner, I like the staff, I like the services, It's a well-run business, with excellent hygiene practices in place, and a sense of relaxation and gentle care with every visit. I love the organic treatments and crative seasonal specials, all with non-toxic products. It's luxury at an affordable price. No other salon comes close.

I’ve been visiting Zazen for the past year, but after three poor experiences in a row, I feel compelled to write a review. Even when my gel nails bubbled an hour after getting them or had to wait over 10 minutes for a scheduled appointment, I’ve always been kind to staff and still left a generous tip. The nail techs though, often seemed rushed and generally unfriendly. Not even so much as a hello most appointments. I don’t need lengthy conversation, but they give off the impression as if I’m putting them out by making an appointment. Today after arriving for my pedicure, the nail tech told me I would be getting an express instead of the zen I scheduled because I was 5 minutes late for my appointment. By no means was this the case. The clock in the pedicure area is several minutes fast, and one of the nail techs even mentioned as much to a client sitting nearby. I essentially got nothing more than a polish change on my toes and my feet look like I never had a pedicure. My manicure was equally as awful and I was left with a bloody and sore cuticle and a noticeably uneven nail. The tech got polish remover all over my pedicure chair and shorts and then let my old gel polish fall all over me when she removed it during my pedicure. She later asked me to pick out my gel polish with one hand while she worked on the other. It was the least relaxing mani/pedi I’ve ever experienced and not even close to worth $73. I won’t be back.
