This is the place to take your lamp to be fixed. He fixed it on the spot. The store is right next to his house. I learned that he was originally from my hometown. Very friendly, knowledgeable. Older gentleman- sharp as a tack.
Called one morning about a floor lamp cord our puppy chewed in multiple spots. Very nice owner on the phone. Came in that day and was repaired in 5 mins for a very affordable cost. I couldn’t believe it. The owner was very kind and funny. He also shared a tip on how to help prevent our pup from doing again. We will be back!
I have been taking my lamps here for repair since 1996. Always consistent. Always knowledgeable. Always cordial. I know when the shop closes, I will miss his knowledge. Have had everything from simple switch repairs to complete re-wiring of lamps found in the strangest places that I wanted to give new life. We also spent quite some time trying to find a glass chimney for a very old hurricane lamp - we were told over and over they no longer make it.
