S&S Installed a residential standby generator 12 years ago which has run faultlessly. I changed the oil and filters irregularly. Recently the generator failed its weekly test. I contacted S&S and spoke with Jim Follet, the original contact from 12 years ago. We had a very friendly conversation, followed by a few texts leading me to believe he was arranging to send a technician. The texts ended with Jim ghosting me. No technian, no repair, and a heat wave threatening grid instability and blackouts.

My husband and I had to wait over 2 weeks for repairs (after the consultation) of our HVAC unit. Broken & melted drain tray that caused water to drain and pool in our basement. Spoke with Steve and was told that our HVAC unit was still under warranty and sent 1 person for a 2 person job (Steve informed us that it was a 2 person job). Total time for the job for 1 person was 3 HOURS. Then we received a bill of $400 which was just for labor. Never using S&S again
