Delaware Valley Residential Care

I am currently a resident here at DVRC. I’m happy for the most part but their are two issues I am concerned with. Nursing needs to be more pro-active with follow up appointments for their residents. I realize that this is hard because we are a big community and there are only so many nurses on staff but this issue needs to be made a top priority. Also safety systems need to be implemented in each residents rooms such as pull cords . There were several incidents where the residents have fallen and laid in their waste. Until the next morning. Things have definitely improved here since I made DVRC my home but there is always room for improvement.

I worked in the corporate building and got to see first hand how hard the executives work in the best interest of all the residents in their care. They go above and beyond for the employees that work on the site, and worked around the clock to ensure everyone safety during the pandemic. My advice for anyone starting is to keep in mind that these guys might not always be around but they’re always working behind to scene to keep DVRC up and running for the employees, but most importantly for the residents that depend on them. So shout out to Mark, Mike & Bob hardest workers I know.

My brother resides at this facility, I’ve had a few obstacles and his stay there for the last three years, but for the most part the staff is very kind and caring. They always respond to me within a reasonable time when I have questions. It was rough over the Covid 19 pandemic but now the residents have been vaccinated and the restrictions are easing up. Thank you for all you do to keep my brother safe and well, Most of the nurses are really awesome as well easy to talk to. There is one that needs a little bit of an attitude adjustment and her name is Jenny. Very unpleasant makes you feel like you’re bothering her
