I come back here fairly frequently because they offer a good haircut at a price that can't be beat! For men, only $12 plus tip. They only take cash, so make sure you have some before you go. I don't know if they do appointments, and it can get busy at certain times, but I've never had to wait all too long, unlike other barbers/salons I've tried in the past.
It's nice having H-Mart next door too, in case I need anything there. Parking lot across the street is typically free on weekends. There's street parking around the area for weekdays.
I go the woman only. I’ve had incidents where guys have not cut my hair as well as her. Once, the younger guy cut my hair and rounded one side of the back of my head and had the other side straight. I asked him to make it symmetrical once he showed me in the mirror. He rolled his eyes, put a razor with a guard and pretended to cut it. He showed me again and I decided not to argue. I understand it’s a cheap haircut but still. As I got up, he laughed, thinking he fooled me. The woman is nice, and cuts my hair the best. Still a bang for your buck.
Needed a fade for my Asian hair and I got a very decent cut. Some slight communication difficulties, but this is expected. Go ahead and tip well because the price is honestly too cheap!
One thing, don't plan on going out right afterwards. No wash so you'll probably need a shower.
