Mammograms at Breast Health Services at Health Center at Trexlertown

The process of the mammogram was fine, but they never billed my medical insurance and sent the bill directly to me. Then I had to waste my time calling the billing office about it. Then they proceed to tell me they can’t change anything on the bill, when I asked to make sure it was to be billed as a preventive screening, since that’s why I had it done in the first place. I’ll never come back to this location.

This practice is a shadow of its former self! Not unlike other factions of lehigh valley health network , they continue to expand at the expense of quality of care! I and my family have been with them 20yrs, plus following one of the practices original founders and the past three years in particular have witnessed a precipitous drop in the ability of its staff to follow through with basic nessecities of care!

My experience here was horrible when I was there yesterday to see Dr. Lyons. Her nurse was rude and had a snippy attitude and raised her voice with my three year old son. Instead of speaking directly to me. The next thing that happened that while we were at checkout waiting for our paperwork my son dropped his hat. A elderly lady was coming out the door followed by a nurse pushing a man in a wheel chair. I had told my son to go pick up his hat way before the nurse had even opened the door. Which she almost hit him with and then instead of apologizing she said " I need to have better control d him especially if he's going to be around people. He needs to learn how to behave." Not apologizing for almost hitting him. Then when I went to address her saying I didn't appreciate the way she had addressed my son, she rolled her eyes and went back into the door. When I asked for both nurses named they refused to give them to me and gave me the run around. (I planned on reporting them to my insurance company). It took over a month to even get a appointment. I would not recommend going here. This is not a child friendly place. Your doctors office is there to help you, they did not meet my expectations.
