We have lived in our home for 45 years, and throughout those years I have used the services of many varied contractors. I have never had such a remarkably positive and professional experience as I have had with Dave, TJ, Jeremy and Nestor at Delaware Valley Septic, Sewer and Storm. At 5 in the morning, I was out in our backyard with our dog and she just disappeared in front of my eyes. I walked to where she had been and was horrified to see that she had fallen into a strange deep hole. Fortunately, with the help of a police officer, we were able to retrieve her, and she was fine. Unbeknownst to us, there had been an abandoned cesspool on our property since 1925 and a sinkhole had opened up during the night because the cesspool had collapsed. By sheer luck, I found Dave’s number on line and called him before 8 in the morning. I described what had occurred and he knew exactly what I was describing. He was here when he said he would be here, and detailed, step by step, how he would remedy the situation. He also felt that there was an additional underground component on our property. At that initial visit, after meeting and speaking with Dave, I knew there was no reason or need to get any additional estimates or opinions. When the crew arrived to do the work they were on time and totally prepared. They excavated and decommissioned the cesspool and were able to locate and decommission the septic tank that Dave had suspected was there. The yard was then leveled, seeded and protected with straw. The peace of mind that I have now, knowing that our yard is safe from future cave-ins, is priceless. But more importantly, you cannot put a price on knowing that you are dealing with a company whose owners and crew truly care about what they do, and their customer’s satisfaction, as well as being experts in their field. Honesty, integrity, professionalism and expertise are just some of the reasons I trust them implicitly and give them the highest recommendation possible.
The man who came was polite and professional. I asked to speak with him afterwards and learn if there were any issues. He said if issues arose there would be a detailed report. Highly recommebd these folks.
