Based on his online reviews, I contracted Randy McHenry to resurface and enlarge our deck, as well as add a staircase to the back yard. The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. Had deck built by McHenry 19 years ago. Called to see if he can come out and make some needed adjustments due to normal wear and tear. He sent a crew out, they fixed and validated our satisfaction. Didn't charge us a dime. Great customer service. Highly recommend.
It's usually not a great sign when you begin a review with "they showed up with the wrong color railing," but the sign of true professionals is not never making mistakes, but responding to them with grace and efficiency. The process up to the deck actually being built was prompt, professional and courteous. Early in the second day of the build, I looked out my window to see that the railing was white, instead of black. After a thirty second conversation with the foreman, they had identified what the problem was, apologized, and had the white railing dismantled and the black railing on the way within an hour. Our deck is beautiful, and the process was easy.
