I’ve been going to nail 1st off and on for 3 years and have decided that this isn’t the mail salon for me. The nail service definitely wasn’t what I’m used to being a city girl however I kept going because I can appreciate good business etiquette. The last visit I walked in for my appointment and showed one of the technicians a photo of a nail design that I wanted and she assured me they could do it. I got my pedicure first just to find out afterwards that not only did they have the colors needed but that no one in the shop could do the design. The gel nail polish didn’t last longer than a week which was unfortunate. The lady who did my nails was not friendly and rather unapproachable. She seemed like she was in a hurry and did not want to respond to questions. 40$ for gel ‘manicure’ was not worth the money.

I just moved to the area from Philly and have been here twice. The mani/pedi was great. Today I went for a gel manicure/pedi. The pedi was fine. The gel manicure was $55 for pretty much just a polish. No cuticle work, no hand massage (not sure if that's common here for gel manicures?) Also the gel manicure burned when I placed my hands under the lights and that's never happened before. I was setting up to become a regular for gel manicures and I'm not sure if I'll be back. I'll have to come sooner than normal because the manicure will grow out faster due to my cuticles not being worked on. $55 for a 15 minute polish, may as well just do the gel myself.
