“Crazy, but understandable, that I've never thought to crown my dentist king on Google. I mean, no need to look elsewhere, compare offices or sift through reviews. I suppose I was born into this; my family has been going to Back Mountain Dental through a few name changes and the tenure of the previous dentist, so I've been lucky to have excellent dental care with a neighborhood-oriented staff.
For instance, on my last visit alone, they saved me time, money and the frustration of anesthesia by salvaging part of a previous filling and not applying a product once we discussed more of my symptoms. They treat you like family, but not the ones who are always running late; these guys stick to their schedule.
And one added note, as one of my friends mentioned dreading their upcoming trip to their dentist: I think bedside manner might be thrown to the wolves when considering dentistry, it seems optional. Dr. DeFinnis is as “cool as the other side of the pillow” when it comes to explaining things and helping you feel comfortable, relaxed, and optimistic about your plan, which isn't the norm, I guess. They'll encourage you to floss, have personalized recommendations and helpful suggestions but operate in a judgement-free zone.
