Nobody like a bill collector. These folks do work out payment plans and know the collection laws. I would rather talk with someone at their office than collectors from overseas! Several times, I have discovered that I our former hometown, New Castle PA, has sold our paid tax information and claimed the tax as delinquent! Kind of shows why I wanted to move out of there so badly! Bottom line is...always hold on to your tax records!
