About two weeks ago, I contacted Keystoker and spoke with Brian regarding replacing the heating system in my home, which is currently undergoing a complete renovation. What immediately stood out was how responsive they were. Brian came out the very same day to perform an in-person estimate. We spent roughly 20–30 minutes discussing my home, the existing heating system, the work that needed to be completed, and my options moving forward. From the moment we met, Brian was incredibly easy to talk to. He was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and down-to-earth. There was absolutely no pressure, no sales tactics, and no attempt to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. He took the time to answer every question I had, explained the installation process thoroughly, and gave me confidence that the job would be completed correctly. Before leaving, we scheduled the installation for Wednesday, July 22, and they honored that commitment exactly as promised. That level of honesty alone earned my respect. The scope of work involved much more than simply swapping out one boiler for another. The crew professionally installed my new oil boiler into an existing heating system in a home that’s still being renovated. They connected and tied into the existing heating lines, installed brand-new oil lines, completed all of the necessary piping, and ensured everything was installed correctly and professionally. In addition, they removed another old boiler that had been sitting in my basement for years for a very reasonable additional fee, which saved me the hassle of having to arrange disposal myself. The installation crew deserves a tremendous amount of credit. The two technicians who completed the work were outstanding. They were friendly, respectful, highly knowledgeable, and clearly experienced in what they do. They worked efficiently without rushing, answered my questions throughout the installation, and took pride in their workmanship. It’s obvious they care about doing the job correctly rather than simply getting to the next service call. Their professionalism reflected extremely well on the company as a whole. Another thing that impressed me is Keystoker’s specialization. They don’t try to do every type of HVAC work under the sun—they specialize in coal and oil heating systems, and that expertise shows. They manufacture their heating equipment in-house, which is becoming increasingly rare today. Having a company that both builds and installs its own products provides an added level of confidence in the quality of the equipment and the knowledge behind the installation. I also learned that Keystoker accepts old boilers and cast-iron radiators, and in many cases they will even pay customers for certain cast-iron radiators.
