Service for cleaning 2 fireplace chimneys. They found 1, not used very often, did not need cleaning so saved $$. They cleaned the other one from top and bottom and took pictures. After they had gone my wife opened the damper and looked up to see much dirt still hanging on the upper firebox. Contacted Mike and he sent a picture showing the firebox with the damper closed, very clean, as though he didn't believe us. Explained the problem and offered our money back but we just wanted the job done right. He came out to look at it. Sent the guys back out 2 days later to correct the problem. Don't know if they accidentally missed that part or what but the service guys were always on-time, very friendly and courteous, explained everything, and cleaned up after they finished. As an aside, don't wait until the beginning of the fireplace season to call for service. We called in the beginning of October and got scheduled for 11/23.

We've used Polyak for years for chimney work and have never been disappointed. Email and phone requests are answered, amounts match the quotes, never any problems. The techs who show up on-site are always on time, very polite and friendly, and clean up after their work. I'm not changing.

Polyak arrived promptly and took extraordinary care in protecting the work area. They were professional and did a great job cleaning our fireplace. Their inspection found some minor problems which they explained in detail. I highly recommend them.
