John Calvaresi, a long-time barber at Laureldale's Center Square Barber Shop, moved about a block south on Kutztown Road into a new four-chair shop. John's prices are competitive and he offers traditional shaves as well as barber cuts. Notable about Calvaresi's: unlike most traditional barber shops, John is open six days a week, including Mondays. Parking is available in the rear. The shop is in Laureldale's pedestrian-friendly shopping area, with a farm store, Hershey Harvest, across the street.
