Based on the reviews, Dance Works is a great family owned business. The studio has amazing dance teachers who really care for the children and for the love of dance. Students demonstrate solid technique and work ethic, and the director runs a professional program. The staff provides encouragement and belief in a child's ability to dance, treating them like a little princess. The studio works with parents to make it affordable with fundraising for costumes and events. Dancers make wonderful friends and have amazing experiences. The teachers are an amazing inspiration, and the assistant and store manager is absolutely amazing. It shows that dance comes first and this is about the kids.
I was a guest instructor for Dance Work's summer intensive and was welcomed with smiles and enthusiasm. The students demonstrated solid technique and work ethic, and director Courtney Kay, runs a professional program. I hope to return and work with these students again!
My daughter has been going to Danceworks since she was three years old. We had to take a year or two off because of Covid, but, she absolutely loves Danceworks, and has made some really wonderful friends and has had some amazing experiences here at the studio. Miss Kathy is an amazing inspiration and teacher, as well as all the other teachers and staff. Michelle (her assistant and store manager) is absolutely amazing! My daughter loves this dance studio. They have amazing dance teachers who really care for the children and for the love of dance. I love how they work with parents and making it affordable/fundraising for costumes/events. It shows that dance comes first and this is about the kids and what they love to do…dance!!! :)
