I graduated from Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodywork five years ago. I am so grateful I chose this particular school to attend. I would drive up from Northampton 4 days a week to complete my course work and I would do the drive all over again. This program truly teaches you how to read the body, how to listen to your client, and how to give a truly tailored non cookie cutter massage. I think the three most important qualities of a school are 1) competent teachers that care about the outcomes of their students, 2) reputation, and 3) price.
I had the lucky situation of getting to experience all of the teachers that AMTB has to offer; even if it was for just one or a couple of classes. Every single one of them cared about their students, and they all knew their subject material very well. Very pleased to have contacted this establishment for massages. My girlfriend and I both got great massages and then strolled down high street to enjoy food at fire bird chicken. Keep in mind that if you schedule to bring cash for tips. I do not believe that clinical trainees are paid. Not sure. I learned a lot. I generally have lots of questions. Aimee answered all of them concisely. I have probably had 30 massages over the past 4 years and this by far was one of the best deep tissue massages I've had. Thank you Aimee.
