Joey listens and offers suggestions for the haircut and executes it with patience and attention to detail. He is a very chill and personable guy. We make an appointment online with him and he has always been on time. The shop is tidy with lots of great art, memorabilia and is bustling with activity. “I've been going off and to Walter for at least 8 years now. I only say off and on because I'm not the client, my 2 sons and boyfriend are. Off and on because their dad's like to take them to supercuts and great clips ?. But anyways when I'm the one taking them, they go to Walter and I'm very happy with the outcome every time. Walter and his employees are very kind, welcoming and usually have a fun atmosphere with good music playing and snacks that can be purchased. Walter executes every cut every time no matter the age or ethnicity. My boyfriend is korean and I can't tell you how many different barbers sent him out looking like a white boy with a military haircut to where he had to go to Walter to fix it (only reason boyfriend goes elsewhere is if Walter is booked when he needs his hair cut) Anyways, no matter the style or length Walter ALWAYS does an amazing job. VERY reasonable prices. I got what I thought was a super looking cut, and my wife loves it!

“I took my son here for his birthday cut, in June, and was not disappointed! My son is 6 and is Autistic so he has some uncontrollable behaviors and doesn't sit still long. We were a walk-in and did not have to wait very long. Everybody was very accommodating and understanding. I forget the barbers name (I believe it was FatBoy Kuts or something like that) but he gave my son a great cut and was so patient. My son was moving and playfully hitting him and he played right along with a smile the whole time. It made me feel very comfortable. We will be returning soon, everyone there that day was just as nice!“

“I have been going to Merola Barber shop for years, as long as i can remember, and my late father went there for years before that. now, it was much more fun before covid when there were more customers in the shop and the joking and conversation was a part of the experience, but since covid, Andy is by appointment only, which has great plusses. Always able to walk right in, sit right down and get my haircut. Andy is a great guy, always great conversation, reasonably priced and never a bad haircut. Greatplace to go!!!“
