Pulling up to the barbershop, the strip mall is full of vacancy and looks like it could use some new life. But tucked in the back corner, the barbershop is open! Tony has been in this spot since 1998 and cutting hair for decades prior.
A simple barber chair. A pair of barber clippers. And a comb.

Tony loves what he does and he takes his craftsmanship seriously! He doesn't use scissors or clipper guards and he doesn't rush cutting your hair. There was no wait when I went, so I sat right down in the chair as soon as I entered.
As he pulls up your hair with his comb and positions the clippers in front of your forehead, you may wonder for a second if he is poised to shave your head. But he skillfully flicks locks from above his comb and shapes your hair.
The shop is traditional. The back is slightly cluttered, but it doesn't take away from the conversation or the haircut.

The haircut took 25 minutes, but he took his time to get everything right and blend my hair. The haircut cost $25, but I'd honestly pay more for the quality.“
