I have been a patient with The Nexus Group for over 2.5 years. I moved to Pittsburgh from a different state so I was initially worried about how to find a new mental health provider in a city that's bigger than I was used to. I reached out for a new patient appointment and got scheduled within two weeks of my intake form submission. My provider is Samantha R. and she is fantastic! I have been seeing her since my new patient appointment and Samantha always asks how I'm doing first, hears my concerns, asks if I have any questions and answers them thoroughly. I have treated with the Nexus Group for several years. I have experienced excellent care - from the staff, the billing department and most of all, from Dr. Thorkleson. He is a kind, compassionate man who listens carefully and thoughtfully each time we interact. If you are in need of any of the services this group provides, rest assured that you will receive quality care from a dedicated, professional staff.
Dr. Thorkelson is a very good man, excellent Psychiatrist, genuinely caring and never rushes! I am fortunate to have him as my Doctor!!! The staff also is very kind, efficient and friendly! I am fortunate to have the Nexus Group!!
