I went to The Laundry Basket today as my washer is broken and I had really let my dirty clothes pulled up. I'd had company so several sets of sheets and towels, along with my sheets and clothes I couldn't wash because of the broken machine.I went on a Sunday morning, around 10:30. The place is clean, the washers are clean (inside and out), they work, plenty of baskets to move clothes from washer to dryers. Those are clean, too. The floors are spotless, no spilled soap, no funky odors.40 pound machines $5.50. 30 pound machines $4.75 (I think!). Regular machines $2.75. They are a life saver. Did an amazing job and hung my shirts. Traveling by plane and when transferring my luggage, in the rain, put my bag in a puddle. The front section with my long sleeved shirts and Pjs got wet. Draped the garments in the bathroom and on chairs. Next morning realized they would need washing. Found the Laundry Basket on Yelp, great reviews.For out of towners like us the streets in Pittsburgh are a mystery. From Apple Maps we found it. $2 a pound for them to wash and dry them. It could have been ready in an hour but we couldn't wait. Picked it up the next morning and it was perfect. Now I have something nice to wear for the family reunion. Thank you...read full review
