Overall, The Government Center is a lively place perfect for music lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike.
Best record store in Pittsburgh? Well, you're looking at it. For my money, it's my favorite store in the area to dig for local rarities and unique pressings. It doesn't have the sheer quantity of the other local stores, but the quality is better. Prices are high for their sealed stuff but you're putting your money into a great local asset-they constantly have concerts, along with a nice cafe and bar. If you're in Pittsburgh, check it out.
Picked up some old private presses of local musicians. The clerk also recommended me some good library compilations of Basil Kirchin. Found some well priced George Duke as well. Look in the new used arrivals.
Amazing selection for records, everyones super friendly, and I can't ever go without spending atleast $100 on records 😭..
