Expect to wait about two hours even with an appointment time. Most of the staff was lovely, but with the amount of people that walk in, they are stretched thin. Also a number of the people in the waiting room were openly sick and not wearing masks. I would recommend only going here if you really really need something from a doctor and can wait a while.
Dr.Akbarian is wonderful, kind and professional. He helped my father in law who's visiting Pittsburgh from outside of USA a lot. Also the nurse and frontdesk lady are super friendly.
Definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time! The front desk folks were very kind and the waiting room area was very nice. The initial nurses worked and talked a little fast, which did feel a little overwhelming but I feel you can find that at any urgent care clinic. The PA I saw was very kind, efficient, and effectively explained what I was experiencing and how she planned to treat it. She also spoke quickly, but again unfortunately typical for fast-paced urgent care settings. My appointment was at 10, I arrived 20 minutes early and left around 10:30.
