It's been awhile since I received therapy here from Mark, but found myofascial (aka trigger point) therapy beneficial. I saw all of these massage ads surrounding this business and having had real medical treatment there found it a little disrespectful as well as unrated here in Yelp, so let me share an interesting story how I got involved in this business. I was at Mario's bar watching a Monday night Steeler's game and by that time in late fall I have always had allergies leaving me short of breath and a dry cough, and I would try and treat it but it would just annoy me until season was over. I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. PT did not help. I researched and learned out Myofacial trigger point therapy and found Mark. He helped me get my life back! Pittsburgh is lucky the center is here.

I went to a chiropractor several times and two massage therapists for shoulder and back problems, to no avail, before a friend recommended this place. Treatment was much more targeted and effective. Aside from walking out feeling the best I had in over a year, which resulted in the best sleep I've had in a long time, I was also shown and provided illustrations for several specific stretches, which have helped me keep the affected area lose and much less painful.
