Went to go get my hair cut, colored, and styled and had a wonderful experience. My stylist Mandy took extra care to ensure I got the right shade (I color my hair bright orange) and it looked the best it’s ever been. She was efficient, professional, and very friendly which made the experience that much better. Got people stopping me on the streets and in the airport to tell me how good my hair looked. 10/10 will be going again.
Su Shan goes above and beyond for her clients! My hair is always perfect after she cuts and colors it. Su Shan is also one of the nicest, most professional business owners I have ever met. I’m so glad I found her salon! Also Jere gave the most healing and relaxing massage I have had in a while! Looking forward to my next visit!
Starshine (and my stylist, Mandy, in particular), is the absolute best. It’s a small salon tucked in behind a comic book storefront and it’s an absolute hidden gem. Mandy is the kindest badass stylist who always listens to exactly what I want with my hair and has ideas for how to make styles work with my texture. She is the ultimate professional, very communicative, and always ensures that I’m totally satisfied with my hair. The owner is also delightful and super creative. If you want a queer wonderland salon with people who have great boundaries and professionalism while also just being great humans, look no further.
