Selbe African Hair Braiding is a long-standing and busy shop known for great work. Customers get neat, clean, crisp, and strong braids in styles like cornrows, box braids, micros, or Senegalese braids. The service is generally quick, friendly, and reasonable. It is better to make an appointment. Most are very satisfied, with many returning for years and loving their hair, though a few note braids can sometimes be too tight. It is a recommended place many plan to visit from now on. Arriving early for parking is advised.
Writing a review because the middle age lady did a wonderful job with my hair… I felt bad not tipping because I was a bit annoyed it took 8 hours for a medium knotless boho bob… HOwEVER I saw why it took so long when I got home!!! I saw that she did my braids small and vey neat!!! ( this was ok but I HATE sitting and HATE taking braids out so that why I usually get MEDIUM) but like I said she did a wonderful job!!! Even at the end when I was clearly visibly ready to hurry up and leave they were calm and nice to me!!!! I will be back and double the tip!!! ❤️
Better to make an appointment. They're always busy but they do great work. I get cornrows in simple designs and they are always neat and crisp. They braid strong and tight but NOT TOO Tight.... just right ??
gave it a 3 for the quick service , i got individuals i told the braider she was braiding to tight , i ended up with scarring from the plaits pulling but i still recommend this shop because i have been there before when i was younger and had no issues
