Merlynn has been maintaining my locs for two years now. I found her by recommendation after being disappointed by other stylists who either didn’t respect my time of did hair so tight I couldn’t lay my head down at night because it was too painful. Merlynn has consistently done a great job interlocking, repairing locs, and consistently finishes on time. I am moving away from Philly, so I write this after leaving her chair for the last time.

I went to perfect tranzitions to start my locs. The decor was amazing. The owner of the shop Merylnn emailed me the night before to let me know that there was an earlier appt time. I really appreciated that because I did need an earlier but I couldn’t call because it was after hours when I originally booked. Upon arriving at the shop I had the pleasure of meeting Merlynn who was very efficient, punctual and professional. She took her time with me explained everything I needed to know about the process and how to maintain locs after. She is very knowledgeable and I appreciated the gems she dropped. My name is Destiney and I recently just started my loc journey and was worried about finding a new salon that could help provide me to continue this journey. But coming in this salon was an experience that left a good impression. The stylist was on time and even while washing my hair, she asked me was there any more itching just to make sure my hair was throughly cleaned and I liked that! While I was getting started, the owner Merlynn was doing another young lady's hair and she did intervene and introduce herself. I'm normally a quiet person, so she sparked up a conversation with all of us and created a great vibe amongst all of us and I loved that! Even while doing hair, she would stop and run outside to anyone who stopped to look at her signs just to hand out a flyer and introduce herself. She has a wonderful presence about herself and carries herself so well. I think they did a wonderful job and prices are very reasonable. Yall got to check them out and they don't only do love by the way!!! The owner has found herself a new regular and I will be continuing to go there Yall will not regret your visit her!
