We hired Rachel as our birth photographer, and I will be forever grateful that we did. She was so supportive and wonderful both before and during labor. She was the first of my homebirth team to arrive, and she was such a comfort right from the start. Rachel was so incredible about not being intrusive with the camera during labor, and was just a joyful presence to have there. She captured that night and our family so beautifully and truthfully. I will cherish having these photos for the rest of my life. If you’re on the fence about having Rachel as your birth photographer, don’t question it. She’s incredible.

As all moms know we are usually the ones behind the camera (and like it that way). Rachel makes the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. This process translates to fly on the wall style images with a hint of cinematic magic that makes the images twinge with an instant nostalgia.

The collection of images from our newborn session really are the most honest and beautiful time capsule.
