I started getting my hair done by Frenchie over 20 years ago. Over the years Frenchie grew from being a stylist to a teacher. She knew about chemical balances, something I knew other stylists knew nothing about. Frenchie would refuse service if she felt it would cause damage and breakage to your hair. I feel being a stylist was not just her skill but her calling, her passion. I am now taking my own daughter to Frenchie to have her hair styled. I've always trusted her advice.
I've been going to Frenchie's Hair Vyce since the beginning of summer and it's been a game changer. The staff is polite, always asking if you need water or soda. And even though Frenchie handles most of the major hairstyling herself, she manages to hold authentic conversations with each patron. I'm only two months into my second loc journey and I've already received more guidance than when I had locs the first time, for six years
Chose Hair Vyce Studio on the brink of a Britney moment, happy to say I still have all my hair. Grateful for the direction and warmth of the owner, the gentleness of the stylist who washed and braided my hair, and the overall atmosphere of the salon.
I needed time between processes and was afforded that. I was technically a walk in and was engaged as soon as I entered.
I love mission driven work and the owner is definitely giving off those vibes in how the space is run so I will definitely be back.
