GPHA - Frankford Avenue Health Center is a healthcare facility that has received mixed reviews from its patients. As a result of my health insurance requirements, I was compelled to find a new doctor, which initially filled me with dread. However, my visit to GPHA on Frankford Ave. today was a resounding success. I would like to express my gratitude for their outstanding service. My new patient appointment was scheduled for 9:30, and I checked in at 9:15. At 9:30, I was promptly called to the back, where I met with a nurse practitioner who exceeded my expectations. My mother’s experience here has been very disappointing and concerning. Appointments often felt rushed, with very little time spent actually listening to her concerns or discussing how her treatment was affecting her day to day life.
Mental health care should involve compassion, communication, and careful attention, especially when someone has been stable on long term medication for many years. Instead, she was left feeling unheard, stressed, and unsupported during an already difficult time.
I hope GPHA takes patient concerns more seriously moving forward and improves communication and continuity of care for people relying on psychiatric treatment.

Depending on the service that you're looking for. After you get checked in (after they're finished playing around at check in.). The doctors know what they're doing and you can tell that they really do care. The nurses are wonderful 💯. The pharmacist (you know the guy.) remembers your name and med needs. He is A1. Like I said once you're checked in everything is gravy.
