My son began learning martial arts from Mr. Bob 3 years ago. We signed up for a few trial classes at first, and in no time it was obvious that Bob Poole is the perfect blend of expert martial artist, master-teacher and kind-hearted human who isn't afraid to show his quirks. Students in Mr. Bob's dojo can't help but enjoy class, because HE is so determined to enjoy his classes. The energy is always fun, focused, and electrified by the enthusiasm and wisdom he constantly shares. He's a true "unicorn" martial arts master: Sensitive to the needs of children, Truly hilarious-while professional, and an awesome role-model with multiple black belts across a significant range of fighting arts.

Mr. Bob makes Karate fun for my little guy. The lessons are not all about karate. They also learn how to be good, well behaved kids and good world citizens.
