Fox Chase Farm is such a hidden gem! They host family-friendly events throughout the year that are fun and educational. It’s a peaceful place to enjoy nature, see farm animals, and get a little taste of country life without having to travel too far. Always a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
I love it here, but it would be much better with different management. Active staff and farmer are amazing. Pennypack Environmental Center's festivals there are the best. The animals and learning experience with Olivia and Farmer Fernando are wonderful every time we visit.
Nice section of Pennypack park with trails along the Pennypack creek extending beyond Philadelphia city limits into Lormer Park which is located in Montgomery County and is part of Lower Moreland Township Parks and Recreation department. The Lormer Park main parking area and ranger station is located off of Morden Rd between Pine Rd and Huntington Pike.
