One of the worst experience I’ve ever had with an accounting office first of all they told me it was $450 and then they charged me $600 for I don’t know what and they cut it down to the wire the day before the tax was due meanwhile they had my 1099s over a month now my bank is telling me that entities are taking a little bit here a little bit there and I don’t understand why it’s either you pay one amount to the city and one amount to the federal tax and that’s it but now it’s multiples you tend to wonder and I didn’t even speak to the person that charged me $600. I had a very positive experience with this firm when I first started working with them. Lory was excellent and Dale was always helpful. Unfortunately, after Lory left and Dale retired, the quality of service dropped off significantly. My books stopped being maintained, filings were missed, and I ended up receiving a tax bill along with a bill from the firm despite the lack of work being completed. It created a difficult situation that took me years to fully recover from. The only silver lining is that it forced me to learn bookkeeping and handle filings myself, which I now do to stay on top of things. Cannot begin to explain the headache these people have caused. I continue to get letters from the IRS and Department of Revenue telling me things aren't filed or paid. These are things PWR claimed they filed and have repeatedly billed me for over the past 4-5 years since Dale retired. They've honestly cost me tens of thousands of dollars. As I see others having similar issues, I'm wondering if there's legal action that we can take.
