Although street parking can be annoying for first-time visitors, there is a garage a few blocks down. Bobby Mack’s is SO good that I drive 2 hours just to get my hair done!! I’ve been going for almost two years but to be real it’s the kind of place you want to gate keep (so I’ve put off writing this). The employees and so sweet and insanely talented (especially Nicolette, you’re the best girl!!!). They’ve never tried to upsell me anything - Honestly all of their pricing is so transparent. They know exactly how to tweak whatever Pinterest inspo you have to match what you really want AND will look good on you. The street parking can be annoying for first time visits, so definitely park in the garage a few blocks down.
My experience with Macy at Bobby Mack was amazing! Macy is kind, talented, and super welcoming! She turned my plain dark brown hair into a lovely balayage with warm brown tones and I absolutely love it! From the moment that I stepped into the salon, Macy made sure to give me a great experience. She offered me a variety of different beverages and talked and laughed with me the whole time. Getting my hair done by Macy makes me feel like I’m hanging out with a friend the whole time. I also love that the salon has a relaxed vibe while also having a luxury feel. Thank you Macy, I love my hair!! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Bobby has cut my hair EXCLUSIVELY since 2009. He and his team are the best in Philly. His salon is charming and stylish. I always feel so pampered at their location on South Street.
Bobby is highly sought after in both Philadelphia and Manhattan, and is an amazing teacher in his own right. He’s always continuing his own education, and gives back to young stylists. I also really admire Bobby Mack and Co’s philanthropy.
I could not recommend a trip to see Bobby more!!
