I came here over the summer to get my hair done when I was in town for an event instead of having to bring a suitcase full of hot tools and hair spray. The location address is easy to find and it is on the second story with stairs going up (not mobility/handicap accessible). The interior is clean albeit a little worn for wear on the floors and paint. I was seen exactly at my scheduled appointment time. The cost ($70) is similar too/a little less than what I typically pay for a blow out in NYC and I was happy with the results - despite the summer humidity my hair stayed looking great for hours.
I got a blowout and curl from Mary and it turned out exactly as I asked her to do it. She was really thoughtful with her consultation and listened to my specific needs. She also does makeup! The salon itself is tucked away above the playa bowl but once you're up the stairs it's a clean, and fresh smelling salon environment.
I booked a last-minute blowout and asked on the spot if they could also squeeze in a cut considering I had a train to catch! Mary was incredible. She not only made it work, but gave me such a great style while being so mindful of my timing. Truly appreciated!
