Bintou is so professional and carry herself and shop as such everything has to be perfect when it’s attach to her name. I appreciate your service yesterday you made me feel great about the style I have picked and thanks for taking your time. I’ll see you soon everybody support she’s amazing and has such a beautiful heart.
If I was basing my rating solely on the quality of service, I would give this place 5 stars. I've been there a few times over the past few years to get my individuals done. They usually last up to 3 months, and I've had no problem with them falling out or getting undone. It usually takes between 6-8 hours, and the shop stays open late, I've left there around midnight before. The price for long individuals is $150, which seems to be the going rate everywhere in the city. As far as atmosphere and amenities, this spot is pretty typical of every other braiding salon in the area. Not especially clean, on the plus side though I didn't see any roaches. They have a TV in there, but no cable, and no DVDS made in America. Everytime I've been there they played low budget African movies the whole time. The ladies who work there mostly talked on the phone and to each other in another language. Why I stopped going there: No air-conditioning in the summertime doesn't work too well for me if I have to sit in the heat for 8 hours. Also, I'm sick of the African movies. Most of the center city shops pick up on a wi-fi signal, so I bring my laptop nowadays when I get my braids.
