Albert is highly skilled, focused and efficient. He is one of the most competent barbers I have visited. But he is sometimes rude and unkind in responding to questions and requests.
I’ve been coming here since November 2020. I’ve always gotten a great haircut at a great price. There’s beer and water in a fridge, but it is generally a no frills place — exactly what a walk-in city barbershop should be.Albert considers his work art, which is why he gives strong recommendations and isn’t afraid to tell you how he thinks he should cut your hair. I can see why that might rub some people the wrong way, but that’s what makes his haircuts great.He also isn’t going to spend his time chatting you up about your weekend plans. Albert is the best in the city! I have lived in Philly for 10 years and have been to many different barbers. No one does a better fade than Albert. He takes his time but is efficient and pays very close attention to detail. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair
