A small gem tucked away. My first visit and overall, I enjoyed my experience and service. Staff was pleasant and communicated well. Prices are good. Parking isn't an issue at the time I arrived. Friendly and clean atmosphere. I plan to return.

I stopped here because I needed to get the gel nail polish removed from my natural nails. I normally have an alternative salon I've used in the past-- but decided to go to this one (for convenience).Normally my nails are strong and grow long, but after that visit I noticed my nails felt brittle and were breaking down low close to or below the quick. So, unfortunately I was forced to trim them down low. I 'm not sure if that was a result of the gel nail polish that was already on the nail or the process of removing the polish?. I will not be going back to ANY salon and will instead give my nails a rest.Remember that old say "When you want something done right, do it yourself."?

If I am ever in a jam where I need to go to a salon for nails, I would possibly go here again. The experience at this neighborhood spot was nice enough, but it was bare minimum in terms of what I typically get at the salon. The gel colors were limited. There may have been about 20-30 on the sample ring they handed me. The person who did my manicure did not massage my hands or even put lotion on them. I asked for it on my own because my cuticles looked dry and ashen after he finished. I also noted that he did not use a clear coat to shield my nails before applying the gel polish. The pedicure was also bare bones. Scrubbing and washing, but no massage. I could not tell that the utensils used had been sprayed with alcohol or soaked in barbicide. They had a UV sterilizer in the back, but I am very spoiled, since my usual salon opens new utensils each time they start on your nails. I'm still skeptical of the cleanliness of the tools they used. Also, I came on a holiday weekend, so I don't know if it is normal, but I waited over an hour to get in the pedicure chair after my manicure was finished. They had 3 workers doing nails, brows and pedicures. The customers were very patient, but it may be because they were regulars. My nails chipped less than a week after I had my manicure, so that speaks to the quality of the gel. My pedicure held up a lot better, but generally those do. The staff were pleasant enough, but I'm up in the air on whether I would ever give this place a chance again.
