Does not submit returns without extreme difficulty. Failed to submit my 2020 state return. Failed to submit my 2025 federal return the first time through. If you continue to your state return after the screen to put in your direct deposit info for your federal return, it will not be submitted. You will have to return to the federal return and re-enter your direct deposit info and hit submit a second time.
Worst of the worst, I will not recommend it. Worst customer support and they don’t keep taxes filed from previous years. They will screw you over. Don’t use this company. I have to re do my taxes from 4 years ago because they never filed, after I paid them. After trying to get answers, only thing I got was a screenshot and “I’m sorry, didn’t got filed, check with the IRS”. No phone number, just an email to contact them.
Would not trust them ever again or recommend them to anyone. It was not free. My tax return was rejected 3 times there was no help from 1040NOW. Finally I spoke to a Rep. at IRS and she advised me to send the return by mail which I did and there were 3 pieces of required information missing. I sent it back today with the blanks filled in. Cost me $62.40 to send it twice to the IRS. I am sure they will not refund what they charged me for the E-File.
