“KSW took our ideas and created a design that enhanced what we wanted and needed in our house so we can age in place. We now have two safe and very useable bathrooms with handicapped accessible showers, a laundry on the main floor of our house and a powder room, and two walk in closets. We asked for wider door frames and pocket doors to create more floor space. From our first visit with Shayne, I felt our ideas and expectations were valued and always respected. The design process was at times difficult but the design we have now is exactly what we wanted and needed. Joe was very patient and always used his expertise to guide us through change orders. He suggested additions to the design that enhanced the outcome.Shayne and Joe kept us informed of the construction process and when crews would arrive and when each phase of the construction would be completed. “KUDOS to Best Contracting!! Best Contracting did an excellent job on replacing my roof, back siding and gutters around my house. My contact person was Nate Petty, who was very professional and easy to work with throughout the three-phase project that was done on my house, which resulted from a hail storm. He was professional, patient, efficiently communicated with me all work that was to be done and a strong advocate on my behalf with the insurance company to ensure that all necessary replacements were done and not just a patch job which the insurance company was trying provide. Not only did they do a great job on all the projects, they consistently met all timelines on start/finish times and they ensured that they left my premises as it was prior to the work start each time. Nate even came back days later, after the snow melted, to ensure there were no nails/debris left on my patio. That’s what I call Superb Customer Service! I would highly recommend and have already done so!“

“A couple months ago we experienced a ceiling leak on the 2nd floor. It was determined by another company that water was getting in due to the seal failing around the boots where the pipes exit the roof. It was concerning as more rain was expected to come. I contacted several roofing companies, but no one was able to even evaluate the roof for several days to a week. I called Scenic View Roofing, and Amos came out the same day to caulk/seal the boots until his team could come out to repair the boots permanently. I was so appreciative that Amos took the situation seriously and was able to come out to help so further rain damage would not occur to our house. A couple weeks later, Amos' team came out to replace our boots. I would recommend Scenic View Roofing and will be using them in the future for any roofing needs.“

“Aspen home improvements replaced my old windows that were not well insulated, some of them I couldn’t even open more than an inch. The new windows are wonderful!! I can tell a huge difference in the temperature in my bedroom. There is no longer a draft of cold air. The sliding glass doors glide easily. The entire installation crew were professional efficient and polite. The office was knowledgeable and responsive. “I live in Akron Pa. I recently had a tree fall on my house. I needed to have my roof replaced entirely. Elmer And his boys showed up And had the old roof torn off in no time and had the new one up and installed by the end of the day. They came back the very next day finished their clean up, thanked us and left. They even came back the following day after , we called and said some of our soffet had fallen from all the rattling around and Elmer Came back and fixed it himself with no charge to us. Even though he didn't have to. If I could give six stars , I would , but I can only give five , so that's what they get. Now, in my opinion, Elmer and his boys are the best roofers around if you need a new roof. And I can say that , because i've been in the business for 30 years myself.I will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs a roof or any type of roof work. “Working with Pine Ridge Roofing was great from start to finish. I reached out to get an estimate and Jonathan was up on my roof looking around before I knew it! He got me a quote the next day and we were able to move forward. They had an opening earlier than I expected and Mike and his team where out within just a few weeks getting to work. I had some extra issues I wanted resolved during the roof replacement process; I needed our old chimney knocked down below the roofline and covered over, we had some areas that appeared damaged that we wanted extra attention given to, and we were getting bats in the house and wanted any openings they might be crawling through remediated. Mike was a pleasure to work with. His (and his teams) work was fast, taking only two days to completely replace the roof and the wood under it, but also of high quality. His team was able to work around my yard, which is currently a construction site, without issue and cleaned up after themselves before they finished. I am extremely satisfied with the results and will only work with Pine Ridge on any of my future roofing needs.“

“Within the past few months or so, I noticed water was pouring down the back wall of my house during heavy rainfall, and didn’t seem to be diverting to the downspout. After being told I may need an entire new roof by another contractor (who claimed the rubber was rotting through from standing water and would need to be pulled out and replaced, at which point they suggested I might as well replace the entire roof), Melvin’s estimator Stephen managed to give me a considerably lower estimate to fix a misaligned/faulty drip edge (which he believed was causing the bulk of the issue). They could have tried to sell me on a new roof / repair, but instead told me they did not feel the integrity of the roof was compromised and didn’t see any reason to believe there was rot. This level of honesty is rare these days!

His team member Nolan got the job done within a couple hours and was extremely nice and professional. He even noted that my downspout wasn’t attached efficiently (I believe it was in place with loose nails), and said he reconnected it with anchor screws to keep it in place. They also recaulked along the back of my deck overhang to prevent any water from leaking through to the deck as it had been.

All this being said, it just rained last night, and I didn’t notice any water running down the back of my house like it was before. In fact, as I stood on my back deck, I could actually hear the rainwater pouring through the downspout!
