EXCELLENT experience from initial visit to final product. Our cedar deck required a full teardown so we asked several deck builders for quotes on a new composite deck. Gideon and Ray stopped by to take a look and, immediately, we knew they were the right people for the job. They were polite and professional and answered all our questions and were the only ones that got us comfortable with how they would work around an existing stone retaining wall. The permitting process was handled by Ray with minimal input from us.
The deck build itself was nothing short of exceptional. Ben and team showed up and worked in freezing temps and cleaned up at the end of every day. The craftsmanship exhibited by Ben and team as they worked around that stone wall, a large Columnar Beech tree in the middle of our deck, and other difficult design elements, was of a very high quality and I truly feel I got more than my money's worth.
We ran into a change order from unforeseen rotted wood beams which had to be removed and re-done with new wood and they came in UNDER budget, so they're very honest to boot. How many other companies do you know that quote extra work and come in under budget? Not many that I know of. Even our township inspector came by for final inspection and commented on the quality of the deck and how well built it was. All in all, Decks R Us was great to work with and I cannot say enough about their honesty, professionalism, and craftsmanship. I will be recommending them to everyone and anyone that asks me if I have worked with a decking company. Thank you!

KSW took our ideas and created a design that enhanced what we wanted and needed in our house so we can age in place. We now have two safe and very useable bathrooms with handicapped accessible showers, a laundry on the main floor of our house and a powder room, and two walk in closets. We asked for wider door frames and pocket doors to create more floor space. From our first visit with Shayne, I felt our ideas and expectations were valued and always respected. The design process was at times difficult but the design we have now is exactly what we wanted and needed. Joe was very patient and always used his expertise to guide us through change orders. He suggested additions to the design that enhanced the outcome.Shayne and Joe kept us informed of the construction process and when crews would arrive and when each phase of the construction would be completed. The work crews were respectful of our home. I am pleased to recommend KSW for any construction project.

We own an older home with a nonstandard size entry door. We contacted multiple replacement door companies and none were able to help us. I found Vintage Millwork & Restoration using an internet search and they were able to build a Sapele Mahogany custom entry door for us. We could not be happier with the quality and appearance of our new entry door. Everyone we worked with at Vintage Millwork & Restoration was wonderful. Mark Beiler was the project manager assigned to our door; his plans were detailed and accurate. Our contractor had questions that arose when installing the door, which I forwarded to Mark Beiler and his responses were prompt and helpful. Our contractor also requested additional stain since he replaced the exterior trim during installation. I emailed Mark Beiler with this request and the stain was shipped to us the same day.We highly recommend Vintage Millwork & Restoration for their craftsmanship and customer service.
