Brought my preschooler in, Heather was so kind and patient - and fun! Very accomodating, and took her time to give him a high quality cut- the same as any adult would expect. Clean lines, even fade, nothing out of place or missed- checked in with me throughout and adjusted as needed. Super relaxed atmosphere, looking forward to going back!

I called them at lunch time they said they would be in till 5:00 p.m. that day I went down right after work got there around 3:30 p.m. sign on the door said they closed at 2:00. Call them up they said tough luck, this is all the respect the show there customers avoid them at all costs. Beware

Trading post vibe..you may leave with a new doo, a musical instrument, a fox pelt, possibly a snapping turtle, or even a stuffed squirrel dressed up as a fer soldier, maybe even a new friend! There’s no tellin what you’ll find…it’s also a hub for AT hikers passing thru…which adds to the diverse possibilities.

I am born and raised in Schuylkill County and must have driven by here countless times on my way to get a haircut spending upwards of $30 only to leave disappointed. However, that has all changed, though, after discovering this barber shop. I left with an amazing haircut that has already received compliments. The staff was extremely welcoming and the shop itself has an old school Americana charm you just don't find anymore. I need to make sure the next time I get a haircut I have some time to just sit and hang out and talk and learn some things. I highly recommend stopping by for an amazing, affordable haircut and being immersed in nostalgia. Many many thanks.

You have to visit this to believe it. Sure, it's a barber shop for men, women, and children. But the rest is the fun part. A row of guitars -- ask and you're welcome to play for everyone. Or maybe you arrive when they have live music planned. Plus an antique market, guitars for sale, rocking chairs to wait on, books and magazines to read, children's toys, free coffee and snacks for everyone including the Appalachian Trail hikers who are welcome to stop in to relax, get a cut, charge a cell phone, and sing along. Throw in some rare coins and gold and silver bars for sale, and conversation and harmonica blues from the owner, and now you're really getting the full experience. Dogs are welcome, too. This place is a rarity and you WILL leave looking good and in a great mood.
