Kids Hair Works is a great place for kids' haircuts. Dana is patient and kind, creating a welcoming salon environment with toys and distractions. She does one haircut at a time, making it a less overwhelming experience for children who have trouble sitting still or have sensory issues. Dana goes above and beyond to make kids happy and relaxed, turning haircuts into a wonderful experience even for the most nervous children. The salon is extremely kid-friendly, with tons of toys and fun things for kids, like tinsel or fun spray in color. Dana is on top of the latest trends and even teaches parents how to style their children's hair, making it a truly enjoyable experience for the whole family.
Dania is the best! We have been going to her years and she is the best with our son who is on the spectrum. It took a little while for him to just be comfortable with hair cuts but Dania never got impatient or frustrated with his sensory issues. She’s flexible with where she cuts his hair in the shop and knows all about redirecting. The last cut he had, he was playing Pac-Man while she cut and styled his hair! Our son’s behavioral therapist came with us to see how our son handled the hair cuts and was amazed as well at how Dania does her thing! We have found someone that I completely trust with our special kiddo!
Dania is the best! She made my three year old so comfortable for his first hair cut. My husband, myself, and my dad were all really sad to cut it, and she even comforted us adults. She was so patient and took the cut slow so we could decide just how much we wanted to take off. She has a true gift. Such a beautiful soul in this world! And her prices are excellent.
She also cuts my father’s, and both aunts hair. And they all adore her as well.
I would recommend her 20 million times over!
10/10! We’ve been going to Dania for the past 2 years and I can’t recommend Dania enough! My now 3 year old had a rough experience at another kid’s salon for his first haircut and it took several visits to finally get him comfortable sitting in the chair without me holding him. Dania is incredibly patient, puts on movies and, lets my toddler play while getting his haircut. He’s now completely comfortable with haircuts!
