First ever yoga lesson, it was unique experience and I feel great. Jeff was great instructor and made this first time a gateway to a new path of self awareness.

Friendly staff and fellow students. Small class size and the instructor was knowledgeable.

I joined Whole Body Yoga not long ago and I have never felt more welcome and comfortable at a yoga studio. Daily yoga at home has been my go to for years now but I was missing a community connection. I couldn’t quite find the feeling of calm/acceptance/community I was looking for at many of the studios I tried, but from the moment I walked in the door at this studio I felt like part of a family. It’s the first time I’ve been to yoga classes that had a range of ages and ability, there was no intimidating pressure to perform as well or better than anyone. It was refreshing and each class had something for everyone, inviting you to make your practice your own. I usually attend Jeff’s meditative yoga flow class on Thursday nights and Mary Beth’s wake up yoga on Wednesday mornings. Both Jeff and Mary Beth are fantastic teachers/people and I’m blessed they are part of my journey. If you’re looking to add to your practice, or start your practice I highly recommend giving Whole Body Yoga a try.

The first time at a new yoga studio has always been fraught with trepidation for me, as the Lululemon-wearing, coconut water-drinking crowd isn’t the group with whom I typically enjoy practicing yoga – no judgment, just not my thing. My trepidation on my first visit to WBYS was totally wasted. The staff is lovely, the teachers are all phenomenal in their own right, and there is an incredible variety of classes from which to choose. Special shout-out to Denise, Jeff, Sally, and Deanna, whose classes I particularly adore, and to Brian, the fabulous massage therapist. And Tanya is fantastic at helping you navigate your entry into the WBYS community. But the absolute most amazing part of WBYS? The other members.I’ve had the opportunity to practice with teenagers, senior citizens, athletes, artists, tradespeople, educators, and a myriad of other amazing people – men and women – from all backgrounds, including a few Lululemon wearers and coconut water drinkers. And I’m a better person for it.Whole Body Yoga Studio is my Third Place. I can’t recommend it enough.
