I had the pleasure of working with Matt and his incredible team for a recent tree and shrub removal project and I can’t say enough good things! Their attention to detail was impressive, especially when it came to grinding down the stumps - everything was perfectly smooth. Outstanding short notice service on our historic home! We had a hose bib break due to corrosion. Tim was there in less than 30 min! We hired Rohm Construction to complete a concrete project in our back yard. Aaron and Kacey were wonderful to work with. They listened to what we wanted down and communicated the plans with us along the way. Once everything was poured and dried, the crew came back the next week to fill the sides in with dirt. If you need any concrete work done, I would highly recommend them!
I was sitting someone's kitty for them while they underwent surgery. Things went fine for a week then the little boy stopped peeing and pooping. I offered to take him to whichever vet was preferred and ended up at Newville Animal Hospital. Service was quick and friendly. I liked Lexi, the vet tech, who listened carefully while I explained my concerns. The tech trainees were also friendly, attentive, and careful when handling Mr. Hunter. Dr. Hasco was great -- very friendly, gentle, and I appreciated how he listened, carefully, to understand our concerns and Mr. Hunter's symptoms. In the end, treatment was minimal and seemingly effective and he's back with mom and doing fine but the visit offered some assurance and peace of mind while I had custody of Mr. Hunter. Finally, this is a veterinarian without pretense -- unlike, perhaps, some more fancy offices closer to Camp Hill (Im thinking of Good Hope in particular). There's no free coffee or fireplace but there are small bottles of refrigerated water; instead, the office is comfortable, clean, and efficiently run. I do wish there was a way to divide for noisy animals versus quiet ones but otherwise no complaints.

We've been using Bridget for a number of years now. She is wonderful with our dogs! She will even come out to our car in the parking area to pick them up because we are mobility limited. Never have one of our dogs been afraid to go to Bridget's. Can't recommend her too highly enough.
We are new to the area and haven't had a well water system in our home in over 50 years. So, when our well pump stopped working, I looked on the Shippensburg Community page and found Whistler's Well Service from Newville, Pa. with excellent ratings. The kind woman who answered my phone call assured me that she could and would have a crew out first thing in the morning, or even that night. I told her I was pretty sure it was the pump or foot valve and that it was not a "quick fix", so in the morning was fine. First thing in the morning two enthusiastic and energetic young men (I am 75...no longer energetic) arrived, and I explained the problem, and they immediately got started on resolving the problem. First, did it have electric. Next checked the pressure tank, found a problem, and suggested it could have caused the failure. I asked should it be replaced, and they said if I was replacing the pump, yes, they suggested I also replace the failed tank. So, they determined that the pump was indeed the source of the problem, and we went in search of the well head. Easier said than done, but we found in buried underneath a very large, 3 feet across, round evergreen bush in front of the house. Turned out, it was about 3 feet below the ground surface! While waiting on a machine to dig down and find the well head, they did another service call, rather than wasting time waiting for a machine to arrive. They worked hard from when they arrived until they finished after dark, but they got the water back on, showed me how to change the primary filter past the pressure tank, recommended I do it a number of times over the next two days (I quickly found out why and replaced/cleaned the filter many times), and told me should any problems occur, call them and they would come back and fix it. I offered them to come in and have the supper meal with our family, but they politely refused the offer and kept working non-stop. These two fellows need to be highly complimented on their work ethic and personalities.... they were great. If you are having any problems with your well water, pump, filtration system or other water related issues, please, give them a call. You will not be disappointed. I am so glad that I called them, and they came to our rescue so promptly. Thank you to the owners and crew that responded from Whistler's Well Drilling. Dennis Urban, Shippensburg, Pa.

We have a 7 month old German Shepherd harper she needed some help getting out of her shell contacted off leash ans met with Courtney top notch she explained the process with the boarding for two weeks and training program we got updates while Harper was in her care going through this process we were worried harper would lose her personality but that was not the case i recommend this program thanks again Courtney
I have used Hoovers several times in the past couple of yrs and each time they were excellent . They explained every detail to me and fixed the problem or maintenance what was needed . Very reasonable prices as well . I will continue to use Hoovers for all my plumbing heating needs .
