My wife might come in today bc she doesn’t feel good but the receptionist didn’t understand what a general question or being embarrassed was but Victoria the manager was much more understanding and even told her she had experienced the same thing wen she didn’t feel good which proves it was a general question.. my wife just wanted reassurance and was embarrassed about coming in while she was sick we are all human everyone should understand that

Checked in and completed all paperwork on time. We arrived early as we were instructed to do via app. It said that there was no waitlist upon check in. Arrived and it was noted by registration that it wasn't an appointment time. I waited 20+ minutes with a 15 month old only to realize that there were a handful of people ahead of us. Wait time would have been an hour. Ridiculous. It defeats the purpose of inaccurate information is provided. We left receiving no medical attention.
Tried again, made an appointment for a Uti which requires a 2 minute test and was forced to wait 1.5 + hrs for the results to be given. If you have any other option, I would encourage you to use it

Nurses were kind and helpful, but Dr Wilson and my overall experience was the worst medical experience I've ever had. The doctor's demeanor and questions felt uncomfortable - he even sat on the end of the patient bed to talk to me (it was off-putting to both me and to my boyfriend who was in the room - I assume because it was a female reproductive system issue), so much so that I didn't even ask certain follow ups that I wanted to. I waited 5 days for results of a swab to see if I had an infection still, and I was told I would receive in 1-2 days only to see that the results said they could not perform the test because the physician had NOT REQUESTED THE TEST. I called them, was told I would get a call back that day, got a call the next day saying it had been too long so I needed to go back and give another sample. Thank god it was negative because otherwise the physician's mistake would have let an infection fester for a week longer than if I had received proper medical care.

Happy to share another excellent experience at AFC urgent care in Newtown. From the check in process through checkout the office personnel nurse and doctors provided prompt and friendly customer and caring service.

The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helped set me on track for recovery. I was seen and cared for better and faster than I would have been seen with my family doctor. :)
