We cannot say enough about our experience with Donohue Funeral Home, especially Danny. He was incredibly supportive of my mom’s wishes and plans during one of the most difficult times. This loss fell just five days before Christmas, yet Danny was flexible with the timing of the services and never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed.
Dan was always timely in responding to our questions, consistently empathetic, and thorough with every detail. Because of his care and professionalism, we never once worried about something being forgotten or overlooked. Most importantly, the services were a beautiful and meaningful tribute to my mom. We are deeply grateful to Danny and the entire team at Donohue Funeral Home for their compassion and support.

Matt and his team at Donohue were amazing from the first rainy Sunday night they came to pick up my dad, all through until the end of his service. Their level of compassion, patience, and service were fantastic. They guided my mom and I through the entire process, helping us make those tough decisions much easier. The personalized guest book was such a sweet surprise and brought more tears to our eyes. Thank you Matt and the entire Donohue team for making my dad’s celebration of life exactly what we wanted and what he deserved.

Donohue provided excellent service there are truly a one stop family business. They take care of everything during the process so one does not have to shop around for example to obtain monument services. The business has a traditional vintage feel family will appreciate but with a super modern twist and utilizes technology via text and/or electronic contracting which is convenient for tech savvy generation.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Billy Donnelly and the incredible staff at Donohue Funeral Home in Newtown Square for the extraordinary care and compassion shown during the services for our beloved brother, James McCorriston. From the moment we began planning, Billy’s gift for truly “listening” gave us comfort. He guided us with such thoughtfulness, and carried out details we would never have known to consider, and his efforts made everything feel both personal and perfect. The funeral home looked beautiful, and every detail from the Viewing to the Mass and cemetery was carried out with grace and professionalism.The large outpouring of family and friends was welcomed with warmth, and so many guests remarked that it was the most beautiful funeral they had ever attended. Although this was a profoundly sad and difficult time, our family will always remember the kindness, sensitivity, and seamless care given by Billy and his team. A special word of thanks to Joy, whose patience and steady help through many phone calls and visits meant so much to us.
