“I have never had the experiences some have written about in their reviews. Dr. Ankney is wonderful! He is so thorough with his exams, some of the best I've ever had and he goes over everything in detail with me. I was diagnosed with a macular pucker and he has been so good with following up and explaining it all to me. My actual prescription hasn't changed that much and he's always given me the option to purchase new glasses, not pushed me into it since the change is so slight. It has taken a while to get an appointment, but from talking to friends that go to other eye doctors, they are experiencing the same thing. Once I have been a patient, though, they contact me through text and we set it up, so it hasn't been a problem. I love that convenience. Also, I've never had to wait long to be seen for my actual appointment. My husband became a new patient and had a great experience, as well.
