About LA Fitness
LA Fitness is a gym offering numerous amenities at an excellent value. It features state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, basketball court, Zumba and Yoga arenas, cycling classes, and racquetball courts. A cafe is available for healthy snacks and drinks. The gym is open at various hours without becoming too crowded. However, it should be noted that the Kids Klub comes at an additional fee, which may not be clearly communicated during membership purchase. The gym's recycling policy was a concern for some members, but recycling bins have since been added. Members have praised the motivating and joyful staff, who create an environment that encourages self-improvement and pushes physical boundaries. One staff member has been highlighted for his positive and caring attitude towards clients. The general manager is friendly and maintains the facility well, keeping the space clean and welcoming. The equipment is top-notch, and the overall environment is safe, reliable, and pleasant. The staff's professionalism and dedication stand out, making LA Fitness a great place for a workout and a positive atmosphere.

4 stars because I cannot make it to class on a workday as a nurse because my shifts are 7AM to 730PM. I would go to a 5:30 AM or 8 PM class if they were available :)
-Front desk is personable with a “hello, have a great workout”.
-The main gym is clean and also noticed staff walking around putting weights away that were left out and picking up any miscellaneous trash.
-overall a great gym with more than enough options for weight training and cardio
I started my fitness journey at 44 years old... sedentary, skinny fat, coming off of years of a stressful job and eating fast food, while burning the candle at both ends.
I decided to see if the LA Fitness Personal Training program could help me on my journey.
I set an aggressive goal... to hit 135lbs and 12% bodyfat by 45th birthday. I started at 155lbs and ~24% body fat.
I met with a trainer to give me an initial assessment and example training session, then began working with Coach George several times a week.
