“I had a 3-year contract with AT&T for a Galaxy S23 Ultra with insurance, paying a ridiculous amount every month. For the first 2.5 years, I paid for insurance I never used. Then, I cracked my screen a few times. I submitted the claims to Asurion and chose the Monaca location. Every time, I worked with the manager, Dylan. This guy is excellent, incredibly knowledgeable, gets it done right, and actually gives a shit about helping people. These 5 stars are entirely for him, not the corporate business.I recently moved down to the North Hills area and cracked my screen again with just enough time for one last claim. I went to the closest store on McKnight Road, running a bit late for work, expecting the same service. Instead, it was awful. I explained the phone was dead and just needed a quick charge, and that I had an approved screen claim. I also mentioned my speaker was a little choppy at high volume and asked if they could check it. A female tech in the back said I'd probably just need a whole new phone. I told them to forget the speaker and just fix the screen. The guy told me it would take 6 hours. When I asked for a receipt so I could get to work, he purposely started dragging his feet, hitting keys, and walking back and forth. The receipt actually said it would only take 2–3 hours.I came back 6 hours later on my break. The female tech told me they submitted a claim saying I needed a new phone because they weren't allowed to fix the screen due to the speaker. She didn't know if I'd have to pay the $250 deductible. It made zero sense, especially since my phone was still completely dead—meaning they never even turned it on or tested it. I took my stuff and left.I called Dylan at the Monaca store. He literally walked me through calling Asurion to reset the claim that the McKnight Road store messed up. I brought it to Dylan, and he not only fixed the screen perfectly under the claim, but he also fixed my speaker for a very reasonable price.Dylan is the only person I trust. If it were up to me, he’d be running training for all these stores to fire and hire people who actually care.Right after this, my AT&T contract ended. I paid off the phone and unlocked it. While trying to jump through hoops to get my port pin to switch to a cheaper prepaid plan, my flawless, scratch-free phone suddenly started boot-looping out of nowhere and completely died. It is a massive, shady coincidence that it crashed the exact moment it was paid off and unlocked. I dropped it right back off with Dylan at the Monaca UbreakIfix to see if it can even be saved, because he's the only one who will give me an honest assessment. If you go to uBreakiFix, go to the Monaca store and see Dylan. Avoid the McKnight Road location at all costs“
